Holy cow. My bike crapped out at the circle K and Jesse was Johnny on the spot - picked up me and my bike - figured out what needed replacing and got my back on the road no muss no fuss and charged a fair price. What else can I say? He and Eugene showed me real small town hospitality and hands on competence.

Great shop, very punctual and trustworthy mechanics. They went the extra mile to sort out my KTM 690 and prep it for an upcoming adventure trip. Lucky to have them local!!

Came up on a dirt bike trip and blew a radiator hose. They had the replacement part and were super helpful. Would definitely recommend checking them out!

Differences Between Moto 1 & Moto 2

What are the differences between the Moto 1 & Moto 2?

The main differences are that the Moto 2 also includes:

  • a larger motor (750W vs 500W)
  • a larger battery (672Wh vs 504Wh)
  • front and rear mudguards
  • front number plate with head light
  • rear brake light

Tech Specs

Where can I learn more about the technical specs?

There are details on the product detail pages for each bike:

Also, this YouTube video has some more details: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqGlR9cHE9I

What class do these e-bikes fall under?

Technically these are Class 2 e-bikes because they have a throttle in addition to pedal assist.

How fast do these bikes go?

They have a top speed of 20mph, which all Class 1 and Class 2 e-bikes have.

How long can they go on a charge?

This all depends on how much you use the battery versus how much you pedal. It also depends on the terrain (uphill vs downhill). If you are taking it easy, occasionally using the throttle and occasionally peddling, it can last all weekend. If you are absolutely cranking it up and down hills using only the throttle, it could be as low as 4-6 hours.

How long does it take to charge?

Typically 2-3 hours. We recommend a full charge of 4 hours for the first charge, and then to try and avoid completely running it out of power.

Shipping

Can you ship or do you only allow local pickup?

We can ship to you! We charge a $200 flat fee rate to anywhere in the lower 48 states excluding California, Oregon, and Washington (those are $300). We do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska as the cost is very high. This will require some assembly on your end when the box gets there - setup tutorial here.

Returns

What is your return policy?

We do not allow returns on these bikes unless there is a major defect from the manufacturer - in which case we'll work with GASGAS to get the defect repaired as part of the warranty.

Financing

Do you allow financing?

Currently the only financing option we support is Affirm - you'll need to contact us to learn how to pay using Affirm.

Warranty

Does my purchase come with a warranty?

Yes! GASGAS offers a 2 year warranty on the frame, components, and mechanical parts and 1 year on the battery and motor. TODO double check this. When you complete your purchase we will submit your information to GASGAS on your behalf.

Title & Registration

Do I need to title or register my Moto 1 / Moto 2?

No - these bikes do not need to be registered nor titled with the DMV as a general rule.
